I was born into this world to a widowed mother in the hills of Arkansas. Given a hand up was never introduced into my life but I've never dwelled on it. My father who I never knew left alot of his DNA in me so I feel I know why I do some of the things I do and how I go about doing them. I've been a late bloomer in discovering my ability to write and have found my new talent to be very intriguing as well as extremely satisfying. No author can tell a reader if he is talented or not or has a great imagination that job is the readers. When people considering a purchase of my first novel by the way, and ask me if I'm a good writer, my only plausible answer is "You be the judge." My motivation for writing professionally comes from unlocking the story chest I've had my stories in my head for more than 20 years;and finally putting them to paper or as in the new age of writing, to Word, really is a long neglected dream.
