I started writing stories in my head at a very young age.  I entered my first writing competition at age 12.  I didn't win but I did receive a honorable mention, which, for me was just as good.  For years, I have been writing for pure pleasure, and posting stories on a free website.  Recently, I decided that I wasn't happy with my current career (I daylight as an attorney) and wanted to get back to a more creative endeavor. With the love & support of my amazing husband, I was able to take some of my favorite characters, dust them off and give them new life.  On October 28, 2012, I published my first eBook on Amazon!  I now tell people (still, with a bit of hesitation) that I am a published author! Most of my major influences are modern authors: Stephen King, J.D. Robb/Nora Roberts, Diana Gabaldon, Jacqueline Carey, Laurell K. Hamilton and J.R. Ward...the list is long.
