There's a place I go when I write, without ever leaving home.  It's a place, somewhere out there in the Universe, where my characters take on a life of their own, and my stories unfold unbidden.  I have no idea where my stories are going, no idea what characters I'll meet along the way.  I just go with it, and it works. Writing . . . you either love it or you hate it.  For me, it's magic.
