My first book was about my time as a young Marine in Vietnam, Bury Me with Soldiers. I was tickled with the reviews and then went on to write Trail of Bones a fictional book about courage, love, honor that four teenagers learned and lived in this action thriller. Understanding that our nation is under threat from many sides, including Mother Nature I wrote two books on survival and disaster preparation. The goal was to motivate folks into becoming prepared since 85% of our population is not. I love to write fiction, but my passion is dealing with issues that we face and ways to take care of ourselves and our families. I have outlined several works of fiction, but get drawn back into topics that hopefully will help someone or make a difference down the road. My most recent work was Self Defense Tactics and Techniques Against an Active Shooter. This sad occurance of mass shootings caused me to research and compile the things we can do if caught unarmed in this kind of violence. I am currently working on Gun Control: The Ghost Dance of the Media and will expound my thoughts and research on the topic of the day. My hope is to make some kind of difference with my writing.
