I am the retired owner of J.L. Mallard, Inc., a California metal fabricating business. Running a business for thirty-some years deprived me of the time to pursue my first love which is telling twisted stories. 

I achieved a great deal in the metal business, but why would that be of interest to readers? Probably my most challenging achievement is surviving for over sixty years in this deranged world.
