For over twenty years, I have owned and operated retail businesses in the coastal communities of San Diego and built a strong web presence; participated in high end antiques shows throughout California while maintaining retail antique establishments. Also owned a health food store for dogs and cats. Prior to going into the antiques business I was a purchasing agent for San Diego City Schools, where I learned a great deal about business. My goal as a business owner and consultant is to continue to strive for excellent customer service, providing quality merchandise, building and maintaining a strong customer base. My husband and I have built a positive reputation in Southern Califfornia known for representing quality antiques and affordable and competitive prices. Learning more in my field, expanding the decorating and consulting side of the business while continuing to learn is my goal. I love the internet and utilize it to promote, market our business. My husband and I bought a 1935 home in 2000 and restored it. Our kitchen remodel was featured in the Summer 2008 BETTER HOMES & GARDENS Kitchen Makeovers Special Publication; our entire home was featured in Cottage Style Magazine, Summer 2011 and Women's World, Fall 2011. I have been hired to speak at events and conventions on the subject of antiques. Consulting to help retail store owners boost their businesses through display techniques, marketing and promotion.
