I've been telling stories since I could talk. I started writing them down as soon as I learned how. I've been a fan of many wonderful authors my entire life and read everything from Shakespeare to Vonnegut. I didn't start writing or reading romances until I got older, but I read a lot of mysteries and my work really shows this influence. I love the work of Agatha Christie, Elizabeth Peters, Ellis Peters and Lillian Jackson Brown. I don't have any particular favorites in the romance genre, I tend to jump around reading whatever comes my way. I like everything from paranormal to romantic suspense. I have found that the latter is where my heart truly lies, though I do have several more traditional romance novels (as yet unpublished).

Four of my short stories were given Honorable Mentions in the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future contest.

I wrote a "scary story" for the online video game, "Istaria: Chronicles of the Gifted" for a Halloween contest and my story "Reebdoog's Tale" won a spot in their fall festival. They continue to use the story every year.

I am a former A.P. English teacher, and I also hold a degree in theatre & dance. I worked as a newspaper stringer for a local newspaper and have worked as an editor's assistant for a major college press.

I have the honor of being included in a Southern Quarterly edition on Emmett Till. (under another name)
