I have lived in Upstate NY all my life.  I have been married for 18 years and have given birth to 6 children.  I am Mom to many more.  It seems we were the family that always took in the strays.  It started with cats, then dogs, and finally kids.  My family is always expanding to include one more.  I figure other peoples stupidy is my fortune.  There can never be too many in my house.  No matter what my situation I always find room for one more.  In February of 2002 I lost my job of 10 years.  After a month and a half of feeling sorry for myself and finding a very poor job market I decided to write a book.  I told my husband and kids I wanted to write a book and to my suprise they said go for it, you can do it.  So I did. I have always loved fantasy stories.  Tolkien was my first love in the fantasy realm.  From there I went on to others such as Ann McCaffrey, Piers Anthony, Terry Goodkind and others.  The thought of Elves, and Faries, and such thrill me.  Combine that with everyday people and I am gone.  I had this story starting to tell its tale in my mind and all I had to do was listen.  When I finished I found it was just the beginning.  Book two (the continuation) is telling its tale now.  I am still not sure where it will end.
