I learned I had ADD when I was 64. Wow! Needed to have strategies. I wrote Your Life Can Be Better, using strategies for adult ADD/ADHD. Then I wrote Living Daily with adult ADD or ADHD,365 Tips o the Day. Both of these are designed to help people make their lives better in spite of ADD ADHD.

Background Information

a psychiatric physician living with ADD and writing about it.    Doug Puryear is a psychiatrist with ADD. He lives in Santa Fe, NM (not Santa Fe, Tx), with his wife and dog, and down the street from his 11 year old grandson, Michael. In spite of having ADD, he enjoys guitar, spanish, and writing. This all comes up in the book - how using strategies for the various problems of his ADD enables him to function better and makes life much more enjoyable and much less stressful and frustrating. It also makes life easier for his long suffering wife, who uses her own strategies to cope with his ADD symptoms - that's not discused much in the book, though. Perhaps she'll write another book of her own -How to be married to a man with ADD without leaving him or killing him. He writes ADD Tips of the day on his blog, at addaddultstrategies.wordpress.com.

Accomplishments

Second ADD book is out, Living Daily with Adult ADD or ADHD.

This is an E book, 365 Tips o the Day, to be read one tip a day at your own pace. It will help you make your life better.
