For twenty-six years my life whirled around a song and a dance. For most of my adult life I was a professional dancer/choreographer. Don't ask me what happened but in 2005 I sat down to write about my husband's Thoroughbreds and the happenings at the racetrack. Surprised? Why didn't I write about dancers? Well, dancers are interesting, no doubt, but race trackers have so much character that I couldn't resist. Originally the Unbridled Series was written for TV, but after Warner Bros. turned down my scripts, I decided to write a book series. The Unbridled Series features the rolling Pennsylvania landscape and graceful Thoroughbreds as they dash hell-bent-for-leather toward the finish line.
