I started writing in school, doing extra credit to raise my grades in the classes I did not like. My favorite thing though in my early school years was to write book reports. I read a book a day in 4th through 6th grades, going through our entire school library. In high school I took a journalism class and enjoyed that. But it was not until the early 90's that I got serious about writing. I went through an intensive time of being healed from my past, and the first book i wrote came from that time. It shares what I went through and how others can also be healed through this same teaching. I have taught from it and seen women become free. The title is The Walking Wounded, all about being healed from your past. My life has been the inspiration for my books. The healing from my past inspired The Walking Wounded for women and The Wounded Soldier for men.  Being inspired to dance before the Lord (like David did) brought forth Prophetic Dance Hidden in Plain View.  My divorce brought forth Submission through Unconditional Love - which I learned too late.  I hope it will help others learn it before it is too late.  A New Day - the 31 day devotional came about when I was beginning a new part of my life. And the latest - Web Junction came from the confusion of trying to learn how to earn money on the web. I wrote it a few years ago but it is now updated. The Devil's Twins also comes from the pain of what I have walked through with the Lord, what He has taught me and how to be victorious through it all. The latest book I wrote is called The Road to Prosperity Devotional. It is a 6 month devotional. I am  working on I've Walked in Their Shoes (Daniel, Phillip, Jesus, and more). This will be the longest book to date. It covers a lot of my life, and how God intervened to save it on numerous occasions. My life is an adventure, and I love sharing the trials and victories with others so they too may be victorious. be blessed Deb
