Linda was born and raised in the Windy City, an apt metaphor for her chatty personality.  From the time she could talk, she enjoyed telling tall tales.  She often entertained her younger siblings and her classmates, spinning all kinds of yarns.  Her favorite TV shows growing up were "The Twilight Zone" and "The Outer Limits." When Linda was twelve, she pecked out her first whimisical novel on a typewriter.  In high school, she composed maudling poems and amusing stories.  Then she spent four years penning love letters to her husband in the Navy.  It wasn't until Linda was twenty-five that she wrote her next book, embracing "paranormal romance" before the genre became popular. After writing for many years, she hopped on the dizzying merry-go-round of trying to market her work.  During this time, Linda and her husband moved from Chicago to the Mile High City--another apt metaphor, since her head was always in the clouds.  She taught creative writing classes at a community college and formed a writers group. Despite landing an agent, she had minimal success with traditional publishing.
