Still a child, yet seeing manhood waiting in his path, Author Katy Leigh Foster saw that her son needed God's guidance to stand firm and strong in the word of God as he grows. As a home educator to three children, Foster enjoyed writing much of the curriculum for all subjects. The first published Bible study is entitled From a Boy to a Godly Man: A Boy's Bible Study of David. Husband and co-author Chris Foster took great interest as well in writing the study from a man's point of view. Her son completed the study on his own, and then gave his request: "Please write another study." With a personal passion to understand more of Joseph from the Book of Genesis, the second of the series is entitled From a Boy to a Godly Man: A Boy's Bible Study of Joseph, also coauthored by husband. Chris and Katy are involved in the children's ministry at their church in Flowery Branch, Blackshear Place Baptist Church. Katy is also involved with the Women's Ministry. Chris works as a middle school administrator, and Katy is a Risk Reduction Instructor.
