I am a parent, speaker, writer and former teacher. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, I received my M.Ed. specializing in Early Childhood. I have extensive post-graduate work in special education from Northeastern Illinois University. I write short stories, poetry, adult non-fiction and children’s fiction, sprinkling humor everywhere possible.
I write non-fiction for parents and teachers to help adults better understand the reasons why children do the things they do, and write fiction for children for their enjoyment and to help them grow emotionally.
