Bishop Kafela, created ChurchGuy Ministries to reach the greater community and it exists to effectively create, produce, and market inspirational products and events. Through ChurchGuy, Bishop Kafela, a well-studied and passionate Shepherd has authored five prolific books; 1) Laugh Out Loud in the Face of Your Swagga Jackers; 2) Pursuing the Mystery of Perfection: Growing in Grace and Knowledge; 3) The Theology of Focus; 4) I’m Just Saying: The Confessions of a Condemned Christian Servant Leader and 5) The Prayer Cave. His next book, The Sincere Church Model is due out soon. He continues to share, shape, surrender and serve the body of Christ creatively. Bishop Kafela continues to stand in humble obedience with years of preparation to teach and serve; and was consecrated as the Presiding Prelate of the newly formed Bridge Network Covenant Fellowship of Associated Churches and Independent Ministries on July 8th 2011 in Pomona, California by Bishop Robert White of Washington D.C., Bishop Terri Smith of Houston, Texas, and Bishop Christopher Cox, of Elmont, New York. Bishop Kafela was awarded the prestigious Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from the Board of Promise Christian University and its President Dr. Michael McKinney. Bishop Kafela in partnership with Promise Christian University established the Shelter T. White Institute of Biblical Study (SWIBS) for ministers and lay leaders on the campus of Imani Christian Cathedral.
