I was a preschool teacher/director for 29 years. I began writing while in high school but was not a published author until 2009. "Silent Heart" was my first published book followed by "Silent Madness", and "Silent Blood." These three comprise "The Silent Vampire Trilogy." My children's chapter book, "The Ghost of Stonebridge Lane", is the first book in "The Stonebridge Ghost Tales" series followed by, "The Ghost of the Frozen North", book two, and book three, "The Ghosts of Stony Manor." This is a three book series for ages 8 - 12 year olds. I am an animal activist. We have 2 Yorkies. One we rescued from a puppy mill and the other we rescued when his owner passed. My children's picture book, "Nakita's Big Question", is dedicated to our Chowchow who passed in 2008. I love writing and creating new characters and entertaining stories for my readers. I may not be a New York Times bestseller (yet), but if I can bring joy to a child or send chills down an adults back; I have accomplished what I have set out to do.

"The Ghost of Stonebridge Lane" was awarded the honor of best children's chapter book for 2014 by the Purple Dragonfly Awards Children's Literacy Contest.

"The Stonebridge Ghost Tales" series was awarded the silver medal for excellence in children's chapter book series by The International Moonbeam Children's Book Awards.
