Elizabeth Price was born in Southern California in the quiet town of Redlands. As an only child, she spent many hours creating stories to keep herself preoccupied. At age nine she decided to expand her creative outlet onto the stages of her school and local community theaters as a child actress. Unsatisfied with the restraints that acting placed on her roles, she decided to dabble in writing scripts and novels. Writing allowed her to experiment and express herself in ways acting only touched on. She quickly took to writing journals full of story ideas and created scripts that she used for her acting classes. Those scripts were later used to create full length novels.
