Ellie Firestone started writing stories before she could physically write; instead, she drew the pictures, and dictated the words to her mother. Later, when she could write by herself, she wrote longer and longer stories, until, one day when she was seven years old, she started writing the book that would become Super Sporty. Fast-forward to the present day, and there are now seven Super Sporty books out, with a further two planned. Even though Ellie is all grown up, her books still reflect the wild imagination of a seven-year-old, with plenty of superhero horses, basketball, turbo-charged iguanas, evil aliens from the Fourth Dimension set on destroying the world ... and pizza. Ellie currently lives in the beautiful rolling hills of the English Cotswolds, with her computer, a massive pile of books, and an English Toy Terrier named Bonnie. She loves animals, and she really wants to own a horse, but that hasn't quite happened ... yet.
