In his series “Twisted Family Holidays,” (Books to go Now publishing-2015) J.R. combines real family situations (including his children), with fiction and paranormal elements to create fun, provocative stories, which have been deemed as “Twilight Zone” and “Dickens”-like, and all have strong value statements attached. His first full-length, paranormal suspense-romance “In Passing,” will be available any day now. J.R. is a licensed psychotherapist with a long list of accomplishments, including a stint as a university professor. He currently supervises at a forensic unit in Southern California, and also works with “at risk” youth. Above all JR is a spiritual man who is dedicated to his children.
