D. Gail Miller is the author of more than two dozen novels and novellas (many written for young adults) under her own name and her own pen names, and as a ghostwriter. She has been writing fiction off and on for the past 45 years. She has been a Christian for nearly as many years as she has been a writer. She has been a fan of God's creation, especially the furred and feathered part, for as long as she can remember. She has also worked as an editor - salaried and freelance - and written slews of nonfiction articles on various topics. She and her husband have jointly owned a variety of retail and farm operations, and she has been separately employed mainly by government agencies. She is currently working from home and providing caregiving support to her elderly mother. Although born in the US, she lives in a beautiful province in Canada, which is surrounded by ocean waters and lined with beaches. She considers herself very fortunate!
