I began writing in high school and learned it was an easy way to get an A+. Now many years later I am still writing. Now I write to share. I share my experiences, my knowledge about wildlife and my love of nature.

To date I have published 5 books, all featuring my wildlife images. My children's picture books are used in a reading program for elementary school children.

Additionally my images have been published in newspapers, magazines, greeting cards, calendars and books.

I have spent time speaking to students about wildlife, publishing, and writing.

When I am not writing or photographing wildlife I volunteer with a local organization planting trees along local watersheds, and spend time with family.
