My life in two different countries and two societies, big city life and rural life, has given me a personal insight into some of the quirks of humanity. This doesn't make me an expert on humanity, but is anybody out there really an expert? Add to this the fact that my early life was in the "big city" with "civilized society" and my married and professional life amongst rural Native Americans, the absurdities of modern life, those so called "quirks" become even more redundant. My book "GalaComm4" reflects this in a humorous and satirical manner. I married a Native American before I was twenty and had children, and now the blessing of grandchildren. I have been writing books since I was 8, though life and its wondrous way of keeping us all busy, never allowed me to finish some of these books until recently. I began GalaComm4 in 2004, and I kept working at it until I felt that I was satisfied with the end result. It may sound like a cliché, but there is a very marked difference the way city people and people from rural areas see each other. And if you happen to live in a rural area where many traditional Native Americans live, these differences are almost comical. This precisely was what inspired me to write GalaComm4, except instead of concentrating of how a certain group of our modern day world saw humanity as a whole, I realized that the best comparison would be from someone or others from outside our Earth. Only then could the true nature of Humans from planet Earth be revealed. Each reader will decide on their own if all or part of the book can be applied to themselves. Everyone on the planet, including me, always looks for scapegoats for everything they do. The poem that I included in the beginning of the book tries to explain where the "real culprit" lies. In the Preface I say the following: "GalaComm4 was written and should be read as if you’re standing or sitting outside of Earth’s atmosphere. Take off your 'Humanity from Planet Earth' identification tag and read as if you didn’t belong here and you’re seeing this Planet for the first time..."

My professional work has been primarily in farming and the scientific study of farming, something which is made evident in different parts of the book.

I also worked making computer programs and websites for local businesses in order to feed my family and finance my research work.With all of my kids grown and with families of their own, I am now dedicating my time to the farming and research, but especially to my procrastinated passion of writing.

Hopefully before the year is out or early next year, one or two more of my books which are almost finished will be published.
