A life-long writer, I've read wide and deep in order to find a balance between the deeper themes and styles of the classics, and the pacing, voice, and engagement of the more "popular" style of novel. I strive to create stories that are both pleasing as a tale, and also provide a variety of levels of interpretation, mystery, and fun, penning the type of novel you'll want to read, discuss with your friends, and then read again. Major influences range from Capote to Wallace to Joyce to Salinger. With a healthy dose of Hardy, Vonnegut, and Danielewski thrown in for good measure.
