My novels adhere strictly to historical fact though the narrative is fictional. They are from a part of our past that has been glossed over in our history books; cleverly interwoven stories about American history, which leaves you entertained and enlightened. They are stories that needed to be told. I wrote my first novel, The Thirty-Ninth Man, to draw attention to the injustices of the treaty system and the deceit of the U. S. Government in dealing with the Native Americans while exposing the history behind the largest mass execution in the Nation's history with the cutting of a single rope and sending 38 Dakota Indians into eternity. In addition to bible study, some of my favorite pastimes involve hunting, camping, canoeing, and travel. I have bow hunted the big timber from California to New Hampshire and the croplands between; canoed the BWCA, the Manistee, and the Merrimac; snorkeled in the Sea of Marmara, tracked satellites in Tananarive, Madagascar, and I can start a campfire after five days of steady rain.
