I've been a longtime reader and always had a passion for books. As a child, I wrote short stories for fun. Occasionally, I'd submit them in writing competitions at school where I began to receive recognition. Finally, after years of pondering whether I wanted to take that extra step forward, I decided to turn my passion into a possible career. I'm still learning and working on bettering myself and I don't anticipate getting to where I think I should be anytime soon, but that's just half the fun for me.
