I wrote two novels and was working on a third when my wife died by suicide, which changed completely the direction of my life. I have now written four memoirs; the first my grief journey in the early bereavement years, then three explorations of the Camino de Santiago, the ancient pilgrimage routes through France, Spain and Portugal.
