Rishikesh Upadhyay, Bsc (Hons), MSc, MPhil, PhD, FSASS, was born, grew up and lives in a small Nepalis' hamlet, Bhanjang Basti, Haflong (also known as Bhanjung or Bhanjyang) via Mahadev Tilla, just a few kilometres of Haflong, the district headquarters of North Cachar Hills (now Dima Hasao), India. Dr. Upadhyay writes nonfiction titles, articles, short stories, research articles, children's, poems, book chapters, etc., and has spent the past decade working and teaching in higher educational institutions.  His works have been appeared, quoted and cited in several international journals and books, and is a member in the editorial board of several  journals and other publishers.
