Information
When teaching full time, I used my experiences in classrooms to write junior and young adult fiction for reluctant readers, especially teen boys. The books are well-received across Canada.
More recently, I've been writing a teacher blog, teaching a creative writing course for adults, and have teamed up with my husband, Dan, to create contemporary adult fiction that has both mystery and romance.
We live in the Bay of Quinte Region in Eastern Ontario but often spend time with our two adult sons and their families in Southwestern Ontario.

Accomplishments
Moonshadow, Goddard's first adult novel, has global appeal and won a Canada Book Award. Besides novels, she's written Buyers, Liars, Sellers and Yellers, a collection of humorous short stories about the real estate industry. Her young adult and junior titles include the award-winning Daredevils, Hello, my name is Emily, Charlie’s Song, Jazz, When Pigs Fly, and Mrs. Maloney’s Garden.
