Exposed to Authorsden.com by my late fiancee' Darlene Caban. Who many of you have had the privelidge of reading her submissions of humorous, poingnant and wonderfully conversational stories. I, like Dar, was told in school to write like you speak BUT, write WELL. I also learned through the years from all stages of reading and writing from Jr. High to College that it's best to write "what you know", whether you experienced it personally, witnessed it or envisioned it.
