Cathy Macleod is a lifelong journalist, having worked on newspapers in Britain, Asia and Australia. Now retired, she writes freelance articles and follows the book scene. She is especially keen to support deserving authors in her articles, in a global market where the big publishers have seized control of the traditional publicity avenues.
