The Secret Diary of Alice in Wonderland, Age 42 and Three-Quarters. My comedy-thriller was just released on Amazon Kindle and is thriving. Sales have been terrific.

Background Information

Some years ago I was in the middle of a contentious divorce. It felt like the horror stories I once wrote for indie publications. When the courtroom battle was over, I became obsessed with knowing how men really felt about women. Armed with a short list of guys willing to "tell all" - I started interviewing men. Soon I was receiving calls from all around the country. Men of all ages wanted to unload to me. What was to have been a short adventure turned into a six year long odyssey involving over 500 men. The book became ... 527 Naked Men & One Woman, The Adventures of a Love Investigator. The big thing I learned from all that angst-ridden interviewing is that this is all a game, we just don't know the rules. It's a wonderland. That got me thinking about Lewis Carroll. How would he have written Alice's adventure in today's world? Like the original Alice, my Alice would skate on the edge of logic. She'd be naive, constantly forcing logic where there wasn't any. She would be surrounded by sensible nonsense. She would believe what was told to her while trying to sort it out. And when she'd had enough jabberwocky, she would turn around and kick butt. I'm a big fan of Janet Evanovich and my Alice would love to hang out with Stephanie Plum. I enjoy doing playful things with language. I love blending two distinct words to create a new word. If I'm laughing out loud when I'm writing, then I know I've hit the mark. The Secret Diary of Alice in Wonderland, Age 42 and Three-Quarters
