BILL LIGGINS is a graduate of Cleveland State University with degrees in Geology and Communications. He is a former nominee for the 2019 AAMBC Urban Book of the Year. He has also garnered the Best Novel Award for BOOKFEST 2018, Silver Award for the 2018 Human Relations Indie Book Awards, finalist for the 2018 Florida Bookfest General Fiction Book Award, and American Bookfest list of notable books for 2018 in both African-American Fiction and Science Fiction. He has five novels on the market: TABLE OF THE SUN (2019), I NEED; I WANT (2018), UNDYING LOVE (2018), NOVA CHASERS (2017), and WARNING (2002). He was also a TV sportscaster, actor, and a documentary film producer with two regional EMMY nominations, two national CableACE awards, and two Associated Press Awards to his credit.
