PERSONAL BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Sandie May Joyce, a.k.a. Sandie Angel, and Sandie May, was born in Guangzhou, known historically as Canton, China, moved with her parents to Hong Kong where she was raised and received her earlier education. She later immigrated to Canada to further her education. She later obtained employment with Customs Investigation, (CBSA) Canada Border Services Agency and (CRA) Canada Revenue Agency where she worked until her early retirement because of her husband's illness from cancer. Sandie is now living in Toronto, Canada with her family. During the past several years Sandie has published five children’s books and two romantic poetry books.
