Alfred E. Neuman has the right idea. ("What, me worry?")
Background
Information
Four years of college, 2 years of law school, and 35 years of business experience; I'm a technical writer by trade and a science fiction writer by vocation.
I grew up reading the classic SF masters (Asimov, Clarke, Bradbury, Verne, Wells, Burroughs, etc.). I've had four science fiction novels published so far, with two more in the works.
My third novel, Sunrise Destiny, was a finalist for a 2010 EPIC Award (SF category).
Accomplishments
Many business-related awards; former member of Mensa (former not because I got stupid, but because I stopped paying the dues). A three-chapter segment of my novel "Sunrise Destiny" was ranked "Novella of the month" on Zoetrope.com in July 2006. The published novel was a finalist in the 2010 EPIC awards. A humor piece was selected as "Featured Non-fiction" piece for Wild Child Magazine for August 2005. I've had four novels published so far, with two more in the works. I have also authored or coauthored three nonfiction books, with another on the way.
