Colonel Chaplain George R. Barber inspired me so much that I wrote a book about our friendship. Those who read it tell me this book inspired them to make "service to others" a high priority. One reader told me it caused her to want to, "be a better person." How lovely! I am also inspired by the following list of fabulous human beings: Ray Bradbury, Brian Hurst, Loreena McKennitt, my children, my husband, my parents, my extended family...and those in the hereafter, Murray Hamilton, Nathan Cohen, Harry Lindgren, Major John Pitcairn and in particular my grandmother Theone who sang the first ever radio commercial jingle! Her mysterious death has kept me driven to write more and to someday solve her cold case. Want to help me?

Awarded the Daughters of the American Revolution award upon high school graduation in 1985. Earned a full ride to the University of Nebraska where competed on the Lady 'Huskers NCAA Division I, three-time Big Eight and two-time Regional Championship softball team.
Member of Delta Delta Delta national sorority and holds a bachelors degree in Education and a masters degree in Instructional Leadership.
Full-time teacher and coach for sixteen years. Skilled artist and musician, Reiki master, certified massage technician, writer, author and part-time commercial model and actress, versatile athlete having played professionally with Ladies League Baseball, 1997-1998. 5 year volunteer in the cast of the Pageant of the Masters, tutor, dog rescuer, psychic medium, and most importantly a MOM, "...with God all things are possible."
