G. E. Dabbs is a Christian writer that writes secular novels in the area of historical fiction and speculative domain.

He's a retired school teacher with thirty-eight years of experience in Bibb County, Alabama, Porta Cras School, and Linda Nolen Learning Center. He's a graduate of Jacksonville State University and Troy University and has five years of graduate-level work experience.       

He has served his country for 38 years and retired now with three combat tours in Iraq; the last received the Meritorious Service Medal. He's certified to teach emotionally disturbed, Mentally disabled, and specific learning disabilities. He is also a highly qualified middle school math teacher.

Captive of Circumstances went into print in the Fall of 2016. It won the 2007 NANOWRIMO Writing Contest for quantity written in one month and the West Bow Writing Contest for quality in literature.
