The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.

I live in Oklahoma, married, with 3 children,1 grandchild, and a new grandchild,on the way! I am also currently working on a new book, yet untitled! I am dealing with an auto-immune disorder,called Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada disease (VKH), since 1997, and have lost and regained my sight, and believe me, I cherish it, and all that life has to give!! I welcome the challenges, that life brings!

Information
I live in Oklahoma. I have had many experiences, throughout life, but my inspiration comes from my mom-Jessica Lewis-Banks, and also from Ms. Maya Angelou. She makes words come to life, for me! My Grandmother, Essie J. Alzora Hendrix, she was an amazing storyteller, in her own right, as well.
Accomplishments
I have had 4 Editor's Choice awards, from the International Library of Poetry. I have also had recognization, from the Gear-Up program, for insporational poetry, in 2003.
