I'm the best fabulist you've heard of. . .in the last five minutes.

Background Information

Jack Phillips Lowe  is Chicago-born and raised.  Like Don Quixote, he went mad from reading too many books---so much so, he took to writing them.  Lowe's short stories and poems have appeared in Barbaric Yawp, Open Wide Magazine (U.K.) and Clark Street Review, among other outlets. Lowe is the author of seven chapbooks, including So Much for Paradise (poems, MuscleHead Press, 2000) and Pariah Tales (short stories, Onzo Imprints, 2007).  His most recent effort is a chapbook of narrative poems, Jupiter Works on Commission (Middle Island Press, 2015).  www.middleislandpress He'd truly appreciate you buying a copy today.  Hint, hint, hint. His influences include Hemingway, Bukowski, Bradbury, Italo Calvino and the noted  British philosopher Karl Pilkington.  But most of all, Lowe was influenced by his late grandmother, who never hesitated to tell him that he's nuts.
