Ph.D. in English and author of, among other articles, one of the first and most widely referenced "New Historicist" pieces on Hamlet, I am equally influenced by the novels of Stephen King, the poetry of Charles Baudelaire, and the paranormal explorations of "The X-Files." My novels are not biographical; nonetheless, they are touched by my passion for politics, horses, and tortured souls.
