I've been writing for the past several years, part of my midlife crisis, I presume. I'm a binge writer, writing several pieces in succession, then nothing for awhile. I've had some success publishing op-eds in a regional newspaper, but haven't been able to break out. Some of my pieces are humorous, some are serious, some are heartwarming, some are thought-provoking. I've gotten good feedback, and have been rewarded by people responding that my words moved them to action or gave them something to think about. What could be better?
