Mrs.Hepner loves to read, sew, garden and bake gourmet desserts when she is not tending to the needs of her family. With love in her heart and a 25 year marriage, she has raised two children who, in turn, have blessed her with nine grandchildren. She is also blessed with two Special needs children that warm her heart and fill it with love every day of her life. Even with her busy schedule, Mrs. Hepner has graced us with her words and showes us that love truly makes the world go 'round. That pretty much tells the short story of me and my life, doesn't it? Well, of course there is so much more to say. I started writing in the 9th grade, why? to get a grade because I refused to get up in front of the class and speak. I was in honors English and speaking was 90% of my grade. I refused and to keep from failing me, Mrs. Claytor, my English teacher took pity on me, my lack of self esteem and confidence, and encouraged me to write. I have been writing ever since. Through bad experiences in my early life I learned to write short stories to 'escape' and cope with life. Most of my stories have 'feel good' endings and characters that are easy to relate to. I spend my days caring for and being loved unconditionally by my two, very sweet, and forever  children, and also by my very supportive and loving husband, whom I call Hoss. Yes, after one of the characters in Bonanza. He is 'my Hoss' in every sence of the character and I love him completely. I will continue to write and hope that you will follow me and enjoy my stories. The next book of two shorts will be called... Jack- Return to Mayfield and Murder in Mayfield. A bit different twist on what I generally write but still destined to tug at the heart strings.
