Authors Bio: Lon Maisttison is a retired Southern Indiana boy who enjoyed a 43 year career in Electronics Engineering with 20 years spent in England working on Government contracts. It was during his last assignment in England (1993 to 2003) that Lon wrote stories on his home computer about a fictitious paramilitary-for-hire rescue organization known as Air Rescue that he created in his imaginative day-dreams. Lon returned to the Maryland in 2003, and later that year contracted a flu virus that attacked his heart and in 2004 was diagnosed with congestive heart failure (CHF). Unable to find any books on surviving CHF, Lon researched the subject and wrote one titled: "Kissed by Death: Congestive Heart Failure which created a new hobby....writing books. The next year, Lon revived the old stories written in England and published his first action-adventure book titled: "Two Sisters of Kuwait" in 2006. In 2008, the Lon updated and reformatted the "Kissed by Death" book and issued a new version titled "Kissed by Death II: Congestive Heart Failure." Two years later, he released his second Air Rescue Book titled: "The Girlfriend I Almost Lost" in 2010. In 2011, the Lon changed focus to ebooks and converted the two previously printed Air Rescue Stories to ebooks. Then, he embarked on publishing a new series of ebooks based on the theme of Air Rescue's ship - Global Rescuer. The first one released was "Flight of the Gunship's," second: "I Earn My Keep" in 2012 and third: "Mission Red Rock Benghazi" in 2013. In addition, "The Story of Air Rescue" was released, then Lon merged all four of the ebooks together into a paperback book titled: "The Saga of Global Rescuer," sold on Amazon.
