I am an author and professional translator, with a B.Sc. in Psychology, a Ph.D. in Theatre Studies, a Level I on the national Japanese-Language Proficiency Test, and a CELTA equivalent in English Teaching. Originally from Canada, I have spent much of my adult life in Europe and Asia, working as an educator and translator, and studying western and Japanese theatre. I am currently based in beautiful New Zealand.
