I write for catharsis. I write for self-expression, for art, for a way of explaining the world to myself and others. I write because I have to. I write because I want to. And in the past few years, since I've finally become public with my writing -- I write because others ask me to, to be their voice. A gift, that I share with those who would listen.

I'm in my fifth consecutive one-year term as Poet Laureate of Placentia (California) Library District. My publishing credits include three national level print anthologies, and eleven regional publications.
