Background
Information
A teacher for twenty-five years, I decided to practice what I'd been teaching--how to write. A native Floridian, I grew up riding horses, fishing and catching bugs. Although I still love horses, I now ride a Suzuki Boulevard motorcycle. I have a Master's degree in middle grades education and graduated from Georgia Southwestern. I'm fortunate to now write full time.
Accomplishments
My books have won The Cactus Rose Award, Readers Poll Award, Beacon Award and Heart of Excellence Award.
