I want to give you a little background about as a writer. This has been a exciting journey. From time to time I get asked," How did you get started publishing your poetry and short stories" These questions usaually came after getting off stage after resighting my poetry. I was one of four members of Portland, Oregon’s first all Black National Poetry Slam Team which traveled to Seattle, WA for the 12th Annual competition which originated in Chicago, IL.    People ask me," How many books do you have?" perplexing as it may be to some I really stopped counting at 17. This is because I have been self publishing/publishing books since the early 90's, I just wrote and produced poetry, art, and music because it was my outlet growing up in Los angeles. I would see submissions wanted for poetry in the back of magizines, so I disided to submit a poem. I have been featured in such books as: "Great Poems of the Western World" (USA) Innocent Thoughts Poem written in the (USA) Famous poets society (USA) “Innocents” a Poem in Poetry book A prism of Thoughts Library of Congress (USA & In), “I remember those days” Poem Library of Congress. Famous Poets Award, International Certification from the Literary Office.   As I've said before I have been performing in showcases since I was a 8 year old child. The stage seemed to be a place where I was able to break free from expectations and just dance. My love for performance art just grow as I did, weather theater, hip-hop dance, singing, spken word, or free hand drawing I was drawn to all of the creative arts. I been a opening act artist, I've been a back up artist entertainer, and have toured with Crooked i, Big Sloan, Yukmouth, Ms Rita from Mo Thugs, Spice 1 and Slick Rick The Ruler.
