Raised in Tigerville,SC on a rural farm. Over the years I have been influenced by many teachers, my parents, my wife and everyone I have met. One of the biggest influences however was from a miniature Pekinese(4.5 lbs!)named Poof, who graced my life for nearly 5 years. She had a long, painful battle with epilepsy and through it all managed to touch the lives of everyone who met her. Poof will always be remembered.
My grandkids now influence me to be a great influence on them. I look back at the adults who influenced me and the bad influence I used to be. I pray each day that God makes me a better influence than I was the day before.
