About Charlotte Phillips:  Charlotte has always told stories - and goeten in trouble for more than few! At age ten, she started started writing down ideas for stories to entertain her youngest brother, but really got the bug when a sixth grade teacher gathered the best of the class's work for the year into a book called Miscellaneous. Her work in print!   While Charlotte always drempt about writing novels, she didn't make a serious attempt until meeting Mark H. Phillips.  They found out quite by accident that they shared a passion for writing and the partnership was born.  Charlotte often wonders - if Mark knew then what he knows now...would he still take the leap?       About Mark H. Phillips:   Mark grew up in central Illinois reading the classics: Greek mythology, James Bond novels, and Batman comics. He's a graduate of both the University of Illinois and Northwestern University. He's taught mathmatics and philosopy at both high school and college levels. He' currently working on the second Eva Baum mystery with his brilliant co-writer and lovely wife, Charlotte Phillips.

A Box of Texas Chocolates won the 2009 New England Book Festival for compilations/anthologies.
