A precept teacher who was aspired to teach Industrial Arts; interrupted in his training by four years. Being in the Army, serving in Personnel Administration, claude found hundreds-plus men who could not read, or write their own names. He became despaired of teaching when told by them that they didn’t care. He pursued architecture and construction upon discharge; teaching ‘pro-bono’ construction workers on site, plus becoming a design architect of odd shaped houses for odd lots. Husband and father of four—wife and children deceased—he is currently writing and teaching the ‘Art of Simplicity’ to all ages in varied settings, by invitation.
