Hi, my name is Melissa. I've been a close friend of KT Banks and her husband Kenny for many years. She doesn't like the idea of writing about herself, so when she asked me to do it, I thought it was a good idea. Faye is an avid reader and always has been. So is her husband, Kenny, as well as most of thier family. Her cousin Susan P Baker is also a writer, and her sister Patricia Boyd has written a book on Mortagage Finance.     Her favorite authors are James Patterson, JD Robb, Tami Hoag, John Grisham, Linda Howard, Greg Iles and Stuart Woods. No one has finished  her novels without asking for the next one. Having been married over 30 years, they are still teased by their friends for still being so obviously in love. They say they are just having a long honeymoon. They have three sons, a Golden Retriever, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Ragdoll Cat. Both grew up as Military 'Brats' and moved around a lot growing up. Fun fact - Faye is 3 years older than Kenny. She didn't really take him seriously when they first started dating. When he wanted to get serious, he was 23 and she was 26. He convinced her by saying, "Age is a matter of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't  matter." How could she resist that? Also, because he was't good at expressing his feelings, he would come home from work at the end of the day and play her a song he had heard on the radio that he thought expressed his love for her. And because his work truck only had A.M. radio, they were all old songs from the 50's or 60"s. So that is why Faye probably doesn't want to write romance novels. She lives the real thing!   And I can vouch for all of this because my husband and I have been some of their closest friends since the ninties. This has been written by Melissa Cox
